Peel the prawns. Thaw if frozen. Prepare the vegetables. Cut the tomatoes into wedges,slice the pimiento thinly and rinse and drain the lettuce. Brown the butter in a large wide pan. Add the prawns,curry pasta,garlic and sprinkle with tabasco. Addsalt to taste. Pour in the brandy and simmer until reduced. Add tomatoes,pimiento and sliced lettuce. Let it all simmer briefly. Add the butter gradually and shake the pan. The sauce formed by the water in the vegetables is wonderfully good. Served with boiled rice or pasta and some sourdough bread.
